We begin by training internal team members on how to facilitate StepBack Sessions using our content and digital platform. Facilitators then implement StepBacks weekly or bi-weekly into the team’s existing meeting cadence. Regular feedback loops and EMI support ensures ongoing success, assessing impact and identifying growth areas to keep sessions relevant.

You ask, we answer

  1. Schedule a Consultation: Contact EMI to discuss your organization’s needs and goals.
  2. Identify a Facilitator: Select an internal team member(s) for facilitator training.
  3. Confirm the Start Date: Begin implementing StepBack Sessions with tailored support from EMI.

The facilitator’s role includes actively participating in the conversation. While they guide the discussion, the goal is to create a space where everyone connects and communicates productively.

We recommend integrating StepBack Sessions into existing team meetings or practices on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis to ensure consistency.

If you plan to involve multiple facilitators, we encourage each of them to complete our training to learn the StepBack framework.
