Challenging the Narrative

Context

To make our lives relatively easier, we operate based on experiences, judgments, and constructs. If I drop something from chest height, it will likely fall. We don’t need to test this over and over again to see if it's wrong. However, these constructs and judgments don’t always serve us and while easier, they are not always right. This can force us to create narratives around people and events, which further influences our interactions with those people and events.

Outcome

Challenge the narratives we do hold.
Shift towards having "unexpectations" when we need it the most.

Main Questions

How has this stifled / supported progress?
What is a narrative we need to challenge right now? How can this help us?
Can the narratives also be overly positive?
