Healthy competition revolves around the idea of win/win. By pushing others to get better, I will inherently get better. Unhealthy competition prioritizes the idea of win/lose. In order for me to win, the other person needs to lose.Our aggression drives our approach to each, but the perspective of competition changes the way its transmitted.
