Ownership

Context

The internal dialogue we have influences the way we act. If the voice is supportive, encouraging, confident, and assuring of ourselves, we are less likely to slow down or take ownership for something we missed. If the voice is questioning, doubting, worrisome, we are less likely to move quickly or hold others accountable.

Outcome

To become aware of the direction of ownership.
To know how and when to switch the direction.

Main Questions

What do you think? Do you have to learn to coach yourself before you can coach others?
Should we take ownership of everything or is it appropriate to hold others accountable?
When in the past week have we experienced this?
